Dance Instructor:  Susan Piccoli Grades 1 - 3

This dance class is designed to introduce students to Ballet and Jazz.  Every class consists of three main components:  the warm-up (stretching), work in the center (positions and combinations) and patterns across the floor (on the diagonal and choreographed dances).  The main goals of the class are to introduce students to the basics of both Ballet and Jazz, to improve flexibility, coordination and stage presence and to encourage the enjoyment of movement and musicality.  In addition to attending daily classes, students will be exposed to professional level performances and they will perform for an invited audience at the end of the session.
